Sarah Maar is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who brings a warm, supportive, and collaborative approach to her work with children, teens, and families. As part of her clinical training, she has worked with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, and has experience supporting high school students in a school setting. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge. Sarah’s work is informed by Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, helping clients make sense of their experiences, build on their strengths, and take practical steps toward meaningful change. She is committed to creating a compassionate, encouraging space where clients feel understood, empowered, and connected. Sarah is also developing a growing focus in couples therapy and is passionate about helping partners improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, and move through conflict in healthier ways. As part of her long-term professional development, she plans to pursue advanced training in Relational Life Therapy, with the goal of becoming certified in this innovative and transformative approach to couples work.
